Spinach Celery and Pear Smoothie

This healthy raw drink is rich in antioxidants to strengthen the immune system and is best consumed freshly made.


Ingredients serve 2

1 cup chopped kale leaves (40g)
1 chopped celery rib (80g)
2 cored and chopped pears (250g)
1 tbls lemon juice (30ml)
250 ml water

Method

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses and serve with a spoon.


Note: Add 1 tsp spirulina for additional benefits. Try other nutritional green leaves such as spinach instead of kale.
