Darling Mud Scones

These scones are for chocolate lovers and easy to make.


Ingredients make 15

500 g self raising flour
100 g caster sugar
10 g salt
40 g cocoa powder
200 g lemonade
300 g fresh cream

Method

Preheat oven to 200ÂșC fan forced (220C normal bake). Place self raising flour, sugar, salt and cocoa powder in a bowl and combine. Add lemonade and cream and mix until combined. Place the dough on a floured workbench and roll or press out to a thickness of approx 25 mm. Cut scones with a cutter 5 cm. in diameter and place on lightly greased flat baking tray. Bake in the oven approx 12 min. and dust with icing sugar


Note: Try adding white or dark chocolate chips to the mixture.
