No Fuss Healthy Focaccia

Absolutely easy tasty Focaccia bread so simple a child at any age who can stir is able to make this.


Ingredients

340 g lukewarm water (40ºC)
35 g olive oil
1 tsp salt
240 g unbleached plain or bread flour
180 g wholemeal flour
1 packet instant yeast (7g)

Method

Lightly grease a 24 x 34 cm cake pan with olive oil. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix with a large spoon for approx. 60 seconds. Place the mixture evenly in the grease pan using a spoon and cover. Allow proofing for approx. 60 minutes and preheat the oven to 180ºC normal bake. Gently poke the dough with your finger all over. Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle mixed dried herbs or seasoning on top. Bake in the oven for approx. 30 minutes. Remove from the tin and allow cooling on a wire rack. Cut and serve while still warm.

Note: Try adding other ingredients such as cheese, olives and dried tomatoes.
