Oven Baked Salmon with Spinach

Salmon is one of the most versatile proteins to eat at dinner in this recipe the skinless salmon steak is baked in the oven.

Ingredients serve 1

40 g English spinach
50 g butter
1 salmon steak (200g)
Toasted pine nuts
Lime

Method

Preheat oven to 200ÂșC normal bake. Brush butter in a baking tray and place the salmon steak on top. Place ½ of the butter on the salmon steak. Bake in the oven for approx. 10 minutes. Place the rest of the butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add spinach and toss until blanched. Place on a plate with the cooked salmon on top. Drizzle with cracked pepper and sprinkle some toasted pine nuts. Serve with a slice of lime and sourdough bread.


Note: You can also cook this in a parcel with herbs, spices and vegetables.
