Cocoa syrup is a base ingredient for many drinks such as
cocktails and milkshakes.
Ingredients
1 cup water (250ml)
5 tbls cocoa powder (30g)
5 tbls honey (100g)
Method
Place Water, cocoa powder and honey in a saucepan over
medium heat and bring to the boil. Simmer for 3 minutes and allow cooling
before use. Keep the cocoa syrup stored in a closed container.
Note: You can use corn syrup, glucose or caster
sugar instead of honey.
