Spirulina Fruit and Yogurt Smoothie

An enjoyable healthy and uplifting smoothie enjoyed as a breakfast energy drink.


Ingredients serve 1

½ cup frozen strawberries
½ ripe peeled frozen banana
1 tbls protein powder
1 tsp spirulina powder
100 g yogurt
200 ml cold water

Method

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth approx. 30 seconds. Pour into a tall glass and serve straight away.


Note: Try using blueberries instead of strawberries and add 1 tsp honey and 1 tbls flax seed.
