Make your best savoury jaffle
with your favourite filling for lunch today or try this one.
Ingredients
serve 2
4 slices of square bread
2 tbls ripe avocado
1 cooked and shredded chicken breast
2 slices cheddar cheese
Method
Spray the surface of the sandwich maker or
jaffle iron with non-stick spray and turn it on. Place the four slices of bread
on the table and spread the ripe avocado evenly on all pieces of bread. Place
shredded chicken even;y on two of the bread slices and season with salt and
pepper. Place the cheese slices on the chicken followed with the other bread
slices on top. Transfer to the hot jaffle maker and close tight. Cook for
approx. 2 minutes and place on a serving plate. Serve while hot.
Note: Try making a jaffle with leftover chicken curry or spaghetti.
