Smoked Salmon and Chive Pâté

This creamy salmon spread is perfect as a dip and only takes a few minutes to make.


Ingredients

150 g chopped smoked salmon
200 g cream cheese
100 ml fresh cream
½ lemon, juice and zest
½ bunch finely chopped chives (8g)
½ tsp cracked black pepper

Method

Place the chopped salmon in a blender or food processor. Process for 30 seconds and add the cream cheese in three additions while blending. Add cream, lemon, chives and pepper, pulse until evenly mixed. Place the mixture in a serving bowl and cover. Keep the pâté in the fridge until serving.


Note: If you prefer a pâté with chunky salmon process the salmon after the other ingredients is mixed. Try adding other ingredients such as pecan nuts and cayenne pepper.
