Coco Cola Cream and White Choc Scones

These superb sweet scones are excellent to eat in between meals.


Ingredients make 14

500 g self raising flour
6 g salt
250 ml Coca Cola
250 ml fresh cream
150 g finely chopped white chocolate

Method

Preheat oven to 200ÂșC fan forced (220C normal bake). Combine self raising flour and salt in a bowl. Blend coca cola, cream and white chocolate in another bowl. Pour the liquid into the flour and mix with a plastic scraper or hand. Turn the scone dough out on a floured table, roll or pat the scone dough to a thickness of 25 mm and cut scones out with a 5 cm scone cutter. Place scones on a slightly floured tray with some distance in between. Bake in the oven for approx. 12 minutes. After cooking sift some icing sugar on top of the scones.


Note: Substitute with 480 g plain flour and 20 g baking powder if self raising flour is unavailable.
