Screwdriver Cocktail

A screwdriver is a very popular and classic highball drink made with fresh orange juice and vodka. The cocktail is also referred to as vodka and orange outside USA. This is the base for many variations such as The Harvey Wallbanger with one extra ingredient or a screwdriver with equal parts vodka and Blue Curaçao topped with lemon and lime soda is a Sonic Screwdriver.

Ingredients

2 part vodka

4 part orange juice

Crushed ice

1 orange slice

Method

Fill a chilled tall glass with crushed ice and pour the vodka over the ice. Pour the orange in and stir well. Decorate with the orange slice and an umbrella. Serve immediately with a straw.

Note: A Southern Screw Cocktail is 2 part Southern Comfort, 2 part vodka, crushed ice in a tall glass and fill with orange juice.
