Banana Milkshake

This milkshake is rich in banana flavor with hints of vanilla sweetness from honey and spice from cinnamon. Keep all wet ingredients cold. Cooled glasses are the key to a perfect cold summer milkshake. To make it as a really great thick shake, you can scoop out of the glass, use only half the amount of milk.

Ingredients make 4

3 Bananas (225g)
½ cup vanilla Ice cream (80g)
2 cup milk (500g)
1 tsp. vanilla essence
1 tbsp. honey
Cinnamon

Method

Peel and cut the bananas into small pieces. Put them in a sealed plastic bag and place in the freezer for at least two hours until frozen. Remove bananas from the plastic bag and place in the blender with ice cream, milk, vanilla and honey. Blend on high until a smooth and even consistency is reached. Pour into tall glasses and place a small scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Drizzle with cinnamon and place a straw into each milkshake. Serve immediately.

Note: I use this milkshake as a base and put other fruits in such as strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.
