Banana Blueberry Chia and Yogurt Smoothie

This heavenly healthy and uplifting smoothie is excellent before breakfast or as an afternoon energy drink.


Ingredients serve 2

1 peeled banana (80g)
80 g blueberries
1 tbls almonds (10g)
3 dates (15g)
1 tbls chia seeds (10g)
2 tsp honey
1 cored and chopped pear (120g)
200 g yogurt
150 ml water

Method

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth approx. 1 minute, pour into a tall glass. Serve straight away with a straw.


Note: Keep the ingredients cooled in the fridge or use ice cubes instead of water. Add 1 tsp freshly minced ginger and 1 tablespoon flax seeds for extra impression.
