“Dilmah Pure Green Tea with Jasmine Petals” & Pineapple Punch

This mocktail was served with the frittata in the High Tea challenge using Dilmah Green Tea with Jasmine Petals from the Green Tea series and is very refreshing. Dilmah describes the tea as a mild green tea with the traditional, natural Jasmine flavour. The perfume of Jasmine is added using petals of Jasmine, a process several thousand years old and is uplifting & aromatic.


Ingredients Serves 1

½ cup Dilmah Green Tea with Jasmine Petals - chilled
Ice
200 ml Mountain fresh Pineapple/Apple juice
5 organic fresh mint leaves
Round slice of lemon
¼ of a lemon
15 ml sugar syrup
Brandy Glass

Method

Chill Dilmah green tea with jasmine on ice. Cut a round slice of lemon and place it in the base of the brandy glass. Clap mint leave to ignite aroma and add to brandy glass. Fill brandy glass with ice. Add 1/2 cup of chilled tea and 200mls of Pineapple/Apple juice. Squeeze ¼ lemon and add 15ml of sugar syrup and swirl glass. Garnish with lemon rind on rim.
