This is a variations of the Italian veal
dish with slices orange.
Ingredients
serve 4
600 g veal fillet cut in thin slices,
pounded and floured
1 finely chopped shallot
1 tsp honey
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tbls butter
2 oranges
Method
Place the butter in a large saucepan over
medium heat and cook the veal pieces on both sides. Add the shallot and the
juice from 1 orange. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for approx. 5
minutes. Peel and slice the other orange and add to the pan. Simmer for approx.
5 minutes and stir honey and soy into the pan. Serve with steamed cauliflower
and asparagus.
Note: If you like more sauce add white wine and veal stock to the pan.
