Rick made this refreshing cocktail in Christmas 2012 and
while making it experienced a funny kitchen incident. Rick was following the
method from the recipe, but accidently removed the bowl from the blender with
the lid off and the power still on. It is amazing how much a short pulse can
spread a strawberry and mango margarita over you and the kitchen.
Ingredients serve 4
5 part triple sec or Cointreau
4 part tequila
12½ part golden circle mango nectar
1½ cups strawberries
12 ice crushed cubes
Method
Place ice, strawberries, tequila, triple sec and mango juice
in a blender in that order. Blend until smooth and serve in chilled champagne
saucers.
Note: Try other nectar such as apricot and for the mocktail version use lemonade or soda water
instead of triple sec and tequila.
