Banana and Cinnamon Jaffle

I used wholegrain bread for this sweet jaffle but you can use any square bread of your choice.


Ingredients serve 2

4 slices of square bread
2 tbls honey
2 ripe peeled bananas
Cinnamon sugar

Method

Spray the surface of the sandwich maker or jaffle iron with non-stick spray and turn it on. Place the four slices of bread on the table and spread the honey evenly on all pieces of bread. Slices the ripe bananas and place evenly on two of the slices. Drizzle the bananas with cinnamon sugar and place the other honey coated bread slices on top. Transfer to the hot jaffle maker and close tight. Cook for approx. 2 minutes and place on a serving plate. Serve while hot.


Note: Try apple and sultanas instead of bananas.
