Brandy Alexander Cocktail

Brandy Alexander is a variation of the gin based cocktail Alexander and is a sweet cocktail made with cognac and crème de cacao.


Ingredients serve 4

1 part brandy (180 ml)
1 part dark crème de cacao (180 ml)
1 part cream (180 ml)
3 part crushed ice (540 ml)

Method

Place brandy, crème de cacao, cream and ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake until shaker is frosted and strain through a sieve into serving glasses. Sprinkle with grated nutmeg and serve immediately.


Note: I prefer to sprinkle cocoa powder on the cocktail instead of grated nutmeg.
