Tequila Sunrise

The Popular Tequila Sunrise is a 70’s cocktail made with tequila, orange juice, grenadine syrup and is named for the way it appears after it has been poured into a glass.

Ingredients

Cracked ice
2 parts Tequila (60ml)
3 parts orange juice (90ml)
½ part grenadine (15ml)
Orange slice
Maraschino cherry

Method

Half fill a tall glass with cracked ice. Pour the tequila and orange juice over the ice. Stir well until mixed. Slowly pour grenadine in the drink. Garnish with orange slice and cherry. Serve straight away.

Note: This is an impressive cocktail to make as a mocktail. Use lemonade instead of Tequila.
