Blueberry Pear and Yogurt Smoothie

Try this dynamic and encouraging smoothie before breakfast or enjoy as an afternoon energy drink.


Ingredients serve 2

1 cored and chopped pear (120g)
150 g blueberries
200 ml water
½ tsp freshly minced ginger
½ tsp ground cinnamon
200 g yogurt

Method

Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth approx. 30 seconds.  Pour into a tall glass. Serve straight away with a straw.


Note: Try adding 1 tablespoon chia or flax seeds to the smoothie and be certain to use fridge cooled fruit or use ice cubes instead of plain water.
