Buttermilk Crepe with Creamy Custard and Port Wine Jelly

This is an ideal dessert full of flavours to serve after a main meal and it can be prepared in advance.

Ingredients

Buttermilk crepe (recipe)
Creamy custard
Strawberry coulis
Strawberry jelly
Strawberries
Blueberries
Icing sugar

Method

Make crepes according to the recipe. Place a crepe on a plate and spread a spoonful of creamy custard. Roll up and dust with icing sugar. Spread creamy custard on the plate with strawberry coulis. Cut a strawberry in half and place on the plate. Cut strawberry jelly in squares and place on the plate next to the crepe. Place blueberries on the strip of custard.

Note: Add lemon zest to the crepe batter and to the creamy custard for more sharpness.
